The Polish-Nigerian Foundation for Supporting the Education of Rural Youth “MONSAD” is formed as a need to synthesise and develop benefits arrising from the growing migration of Nigerian Students to Poland and the rich number of Nigerian expatriates who have established themselves inside the Polish Society to driving a symbaotic relationship in promoting Innovative Social Inclusiveness and knowledge sharing between the peoples and Nations.
The challenge for youths to acquire a degree cooped with economic and social pressures means that most youth do not think through their choice of field of studies or its benefits to themselves or the everchanging expertise needed in the job market. Among the goals of NIDOP is to provide a resource to facilitate quality access to educational possibilities between Poland and Africa through education and research cooperation between Institutions, Industries and Expatriates towards achieving the GOALS of the FOUNDATION:
1. Support and promotion of science and technical innovation among children and young people in rural regions
2. Activities for the development of education by designing, introducing and supporting innovations in the field of teaching, upbringing and shaping attitudes
3. Activities to promote access to modern teaching methods and educational materials
4. Activities for the development of local communities towards development of indigenous know-how
5. Creating and equalizing educational opportunities
6. Initiating, supporting and participating in all forms of modern organization of national and international educational cooperation
7. Disseminating the idea of education and development in the community of equal rights and mutual respect
8. Supporting the individual’s own abilities, especially in the field of social competences, initiatives, entrepreneurship and creativity
9.Cultural awareness and activities promoting cultural awareness among Youths
